DESCRIPTION:Remote instruction will be begin via Microsoft Teams (Microsoft 365) and other software applications\, and will continue for the remainder of the Spring Semester. You will get a tutorial on the technology and your professors will communicate with you directly regarding their expectations for coursework and assignments. \nKeep in mind: \n\nThe Clark Family Library resources and staff are still available online. Please visit the library website for information about remote office hours.\nStudent Life will be in contact shortly to answer your questions and assist you as needed. Please be assured that staff are focusing on adapting processes as you transition to remote instruction.\nContinually check for updated FAQs on our website where information on retrieving your belongings at the appropriate time\, room & board credits and refunds\, Spring Semester grading policies\, and Fall Semester registration and housing will be available.\nAn e-newsletter called Your Connection to W&J (in lieu of W&J Weekly) will be published regularly to keep you updated on information that you need throughout the semester. SUMMARY:Thursdays Student Support Circle
DESCRIPTION:The Student Support Circle is a forum for W&J students who are interested in talking with other students about how they are doing this week. Discussions will be led by Dr. Shelly Lear\, Director of the Counseling Service. Topics will include weekly highs and lows\, coping strategies\, things we’ve learned\, helpful tips for mental health\, academic success\, and personal mental health coping in a time of extended isolation. We’ll also discuss any other topics that students might find useful\, including humor\, gratitude\, and a closing brief meditation. All W&J students are welcome\, and you don’t need to register in advance — you can just drop in at 11 am on Thursdays via the Zoom link. W&J alums have volunteered to join us as well. \nA password to join this Zoom meeting will be emailed to you when you register.
