WASHINGTON, PA (Nov. 27, 2018)—Have you been feeling the post-homecoming slump? We had a great time back in October, but once you’re away from W&J for a few weeks, you start to feel an Old Main-shaped hole forming in your heart.

If this sounds like you, don’t worry! There are plenty of opportunities to get involved with W&J and our current students. We’ll share a few below, and you can always find more on our alumni website, jayconnected.com.

  • Alumni Advisory Councils. Want to share your input with the College about our academic programs? Share your perspective through our established Pre-Health and Pre-Law Advisory Committees.

  • Alumni Student Networking Dinners and Events. Share your insights with current students! Our students appreciate the opportunity to connect with and learn from you—and it’s a great reason to come back to campus! We had a lot of fun at our recent Intros & Appetizers event on Nov. 7.

  • Young Alumni Committees. Our Young Alumni Committees are the perfect way to connect with alumni in your area and host events that support our W&J community. Currently, we have committees in Pittsburgh and Washington, D.C.

  • Alumni Mentoring Network. Ready to go the extra mile for our students? The Alumni Mentoring Network, run through the Office of Career Services, connects you to students with an interest in your field. The help you provide through this program can range from advice to internship opportunities, and it makes a huge difference to the next generation of W&J graduates!

  • Regional Gatherings. Still missing W&J but can’t make it to Washington? We regularly have alumni gatherings all over the country! Check the calendar to see when the next event near you is happening.

As you can see, there’s always a lot for alumni to do with W&J. We love every time we get to see you! For opportunities to volunteer at specific events, click here.
