Justin Swank

Justin Swank ‘09 joined W&J’s staff in 2014. During his time as a W&J student, he was a community advisor, a class representative in the Student Government Association, and the president of the Student Activities Board.
Before becoming Assistant Dean, Justin served as the manager of Graphic Design & Internal Initiatives at CONSOL Energy, Inc., where he administrated a company-wide communications platform, produced corporate communications in a variety of media, and served as a liaison with corporate safety, developing several risk-reduction and hazard training initiatives. Justin joined W&J in 2014 as the Coordinator for Publications and Projects, managing internal communications for the College, and later managed strategic projects for Student Life as the director of special initiatives. In 2018, he moved to his current role.
Justin is a recipient of multiple Telly Awards for video production and has been honored by the W&J Class of 2020 with the Senior Class Award for Outstanding Staff Member. As a W&J alumna, he helped advise Student Activities Board and has mentored students in communications and media career planning. He holds a B.A. in Information Technology Leadership, with a Concentration in Graphic Design from W&J.
