Michael Lewis, Ph.D.

Degrees: Ph.D., M.A., University of Virginia; A.B., Georgetown University
Michael Lewis came to W&J in 2011, having recently completed his graduate studies at the University of Virginia. His scholarship focuses on nineteenth-century British literature, from Austen to Bronte to Wilde. His teaching extends to twentieth-century and contemporary literature–British but also American. He’s affiliated with the programs in Gender and Women’s Studies and African-American Studies.
