Student Government Association

The Student Government Association (SGA) exists to promote standards of student freedom and maturity and the individual interests of the student body. It is the overarching organization for student advocacy and support on campus. In addition, SGA provides support to all student organizations and accordingly allocate student activity funds. Legislative power within the Student Government Association is vested in an assembly of representatives from the student body who are elected by students. SGA co-sponsors the highly anticipated DubJam each spring with the Student Activities Board, which is an event that features both Spring Concert and Street Fair.
